Vlorë/Finalized the coded police operation “Reset”, for cracking down on another case of attempted narcotics trafficking.

The specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, of DVP Vlora, following the operations to attack criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on the information provided through information intelligence, that a a large amount of narcotic cannabis was being transported in a “Chrysler” type vehicle, they organized and finalized the coded police operation “Reset”.
As a result of this operation, citizen K. (N.) was arrested in the act. S., 48 years old, resident of Vlora.
The Police Services, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, have located the suspect vehicle and have started following it. The driver of the vehicle, having just noticed that he was being followed by the Police, tried to leave quickly, but after a few minutes of pursuit, he was caught and stopped by the Police services, in the village of Novosel.
During the search of the “Chrysler” type vehicle, 10 packets of suspected cannabis narcotics were found in the trunk. with a total weight of 104 kilograms. Packages of cannabis were seized as material evidence, along with the vehicle and 1 mobile phone.
The investigative structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Vlora Prosecutor’s Office, continue the in-depth investigations to identify other citizens involved in this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office of Vlora, for further actions.
