The San Diego County Sheriff’s Division is investigating a report of a capturing by a 3-year-old that killed the kid’s 1-year-old sibling.
The capturing was reported round 7:30 a.m. Monday at a house on the 1100 block of South Stagecoach Lane in Fallbrook, a neighborhood 20 miles northeast of Oceanside.
A caller instructed sheriff’s dispatchers that the 3-year-old by chance shot the newborn, the division stated in a press launch.
San Diego sheriff’s deputies went to the home and confirmed that the older youngster had obtained a gun that was not safely saved in the home, the division stated.
The 1-year-old woman was discovered with head accidents and brought to Palomar Hospital, the place she was pronounced useless.
“The Sheriff’s Division extends our condolences to the household and people affected by this demise,” the division stated.
The capturing continues to be being investigated by San Diego County Sheriff’s Division detectives. The division stated there have been no excellent suspects.
The San Diego County District Lawyer’s workplace has been notified, the division stated.
