Prime Minister Edi Rama considers the arrest of the candidate of “Bashke Fitojen”, Fredi Beleri, on the eve of the elections, a great test for the justice bodies.
Based on his arrest, the head of the government emphasizes that the violation of the law on his part must be proven.
Rama called on no one to rush to political conclusions, but to wait for the communication of the justice bodies, stressing that the political battle for May 14 has nothing to do with the investigations or conclusions of the prosecution.
“The arrest of the opposition candidate for Himara F. Beleri by order of the prosecutor’s office constitutes a great test for justice on the eve of the elections, which means that the violation of the law on his part must be proven and his arrest legally motivated!
Our battle with that candidate has nothing to do with the investigations or the conclusions of the prosecutor’s office, therefore, respecting the complete independence of the judicial bodies, I call on everyone not to rush to political conclusions and wait patiently for the word and evidence of justice,” he writes. Rama on Twitter.
