The Social Works of Santo Hermano Pedro conferred their highest decoration on engineer Michael Ascoli in recognition of his tireless work in seeking to strengthen the institution to best fulfill and grow in its mission of health and care for poor, sick and abandoned from the country.
The ceremony of delivery of the Holy Brother Peter Order, carried out in an emotional ceremony on Saturday, September 2, was preceded by a mass concelebrated by the Franciscan Friars, Fray José González and Fray Jesús Gómez, president and director of the Social Works, in which was thanked, in addition to the honoree, to the Asociación Amigos Pro-Obras Sociales for its 11 years of uninterrupted service supporting Social Works, years in which this Association was chaired by engineer Ascoli.
The delivery of the order was carried out by two residents of the Virgen del Socorro Home and the Fraternity of the Franciscan Order in Social Works and the president of the Friends Pro-Social Works Association, Licda. Isabel Molina Botrán.
In the different interventions, the commitment, leadership, dedication and dedication of engineer Ascoli in managing the improvement of infrastructure, equipment and the search for economic resources for the sustainability of Social Works was appreciated.
It is rightly recognized that the Social Works, which today provide health care and care in permanent homes to more than three hundred thousand people, have grown and developed thanks to the generosity of so many businessmen and people whose hearts Engineer Ascoli has touched. and have contributed significantly.

The event was attended by family and close friends of engineer Michael Ascoli, as well as distinguished personalities from the business and social spheres.
