A 16-year-old teenager suffered seizures and is hospitalized after a fight between rugby players during a match at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CCBA). The attackers are two boys of 15 and another of 16.
The event occurred last Saturday at noon when a match was taking place at the club located on Larralde and Del Libertador avenue, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez, between the local team and Mariano Moreno.
In this context, according to witnesses, a 16-year-old boy with the initials MK. He was injured as a result of a fight that broke out during halftime of the M16 category match. The boy was part of the contingent of the visiting team.
It all started with a series of insults that escalated to a fight with fists and kicks. After the incident, personnel from the 13 B Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police went to the Ciudad club following a call reporting that there was a young man convulsing.
When SAME arrived at the scene at 2:45 p.m., the victim was lying on one of the rugby fields, with ailments, for which he was urgently transferred to the Pirovano Hospital, where he remains hospitalized, out of danger.
For the incident, three adolescents, two of them 15 years old and one 16 years old, were charged with “injuries” by the Northern Flagrante delicto Unit of the City Public Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Matías Vila, who ordered that the minors for now remain in the care of their parents.
The altercation was classified as “reciprocal injuries in a fight.”
For its part, Club Ciudad issued a statement informing that the Board of Directors “is aware of the issue” and that “the measures that will be applied to those involved and the pertinent actions to be taken to that situations like these do not happen again” at the club.
