The coded police operation “Participant” is finalized after a 17-month investigation with special investigative methods.
A member of a criminal group is caught and imprisoned.
The 34-year-old, previously convicted for illegal possession of weapons and theft, was wanted, as part of the criminal proceedings started in September 2021, for a series of criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, illegal possession of weapons and security conditions and means to commit murder.
The investigative and operational structures of the Durres Local Police Directorate, as part of the coded police operation “Participant”, captured and handcuffed the wanted citizen D. Sh., 34 years old, resident of the village of Shahinë, Durres.
This citizen was wanted as part of the criminal proceedings initiated in 2021, based on the information provided by the investigative structures of DVP Durrës and then referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, where a criminal proceeding was registered for this case.
From the investigations carried out during this proceeding, evidence was provided that this citizen was a member of a criminal group in Durrës and that he carried out the criminal activity of distributing hard drugs, mainly the narcotic heroin. In one of the episodes, specifically on 04.04.2022, the citizen PH was arrested in Vlora, and it turned out that the heroin-type narcotic found on this citizen was sold to the citizen D. Sh.
For this citizen, the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of the Durrës Judicial District, based on the evidence provided by the investigation, on 01.03.2023, issued a restraining order for the above criminal offenses.
At the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of the Durrës Judicial District, the work continues for the complete legal documentation of the criminal activity carried out by this citizen, mainly the distribution of hard drugs, of the actions carried out on behalf of the criminal group, to ensure the conditions and means to commit murder, as well as for possession of weapons without a permit.
