A man in North Carolina has been arrested after allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a dog.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said it received information on April 12 about a resident allegedly engaging in sexual activity with an animal, according to WBTV.
Detectives said Cody William Sprague, 31, sent an explicit video via social media in which he depicted himself engaging in sexual acts with a dog. The sheriff’s office said the dog belonged to Sprague and his ex-girlfriend, who were unaware of the incident that took place at their residence.
Sprague was charged with crimes against nature after the initial investigation.

Sprague confessed to the charges brought against him by investigators, the report said.

The sheriff’s office said additional charges are likely as the Sprague investigation continues.

Sprague is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
