Zelaya: Entrepreneurship is not lonely
Julio Zelaya is co-founder of the Bright Domino organization that supports entrepreneurship from various areas of impact, mainly in accompaniment and education.

Zelaya will share his theoretical and practical expertise and from the context of the contrast with what is happening in the world versus what can be done to improve enterprises.
In the various entrepreneurship studies, it is observed that “one of the main reasons for failure is that entrepreneurs are over-optimistic, but we do not prepare ourselves, thinking that we already know that everything is going to be a success. Zelaya indicates that it should be taken into account that the major stages of a venture are the initial stage, adolescence, and consolidation. The Entre Jaguares project is focused on companies in the second phase, she said.
He mentioned that there are studies that indicate that the majority of countries focused on developing early entrepreneurship, but that it was discovered that those with the greatest impact and economic development are those that focus on the stage of organizational adolescence, when entrepreneurship already has its first fruits, collaborators and formality.
He considers that Entre Jaguares is based on a good practice, which is to help companies in this particular stage, since they are the ones that have the most possibilities of generating jobs, products and services of value and also having an impact.

Pinto: Learning from success and failure
Rocío Pinto, founder and executive of the Multiverse entrepreneurship platform, comments that she was called to participate in Entre Jaguares, due to the experience she has had in the entrepreneurial system, in which it was developed when it was still starting in the country.
His work in the last 12 years has been to investigate and understand this field, so his contribution will be his experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and in the DNA of the Chapín entrepreneur.
For this, process tools have been developed so that an entrepreneur can advance in the stage in which he is and seeks to share experiences with the different visions that exist in his company’s team. “It must be taken into account that the problems faced by an entrepreneur from the interior of the Republic are very different from those of the capital.”
He considers it important to know success stories, but also failure stories with which experiences can be taken advantage of. “Unlike the former, from which there is a lot of learning, we also see in the world that the entrepreneurs who achieve the most things are those who have spaces to recover from wear and tear or even failure,” he commented.

“When you have that clarity, you can establish specific value proposals for the market; otherwise it is very complex and they can spend time launching one product and another, and attend to a trend or provide a service. Martínez: Promote the principles and values
Walter Martínez, senior partner at the global firm Deloitte, has experience in business and entrepreneurship issues. “After almost 35 years of professional experience, I have had the opportunity to meet many types of companies, of any size and from practically all industries, both in Guatemala and abroad.”
He added that “15 years ago, with a friend we talked about the need to support businessmen or entrepreneurs who were in their early stages,” he said, explaining that these people had many ideas but did not know how to start, so they founded a movement that It was called Emprende hecho en Guate.
Guatemalan entrepreneurship has particularities that are seen in other geographies, which is why work began on the dynamic of sharing entrepreneurship stories and best practices; To this was added a third element: business principles and values, explains Martínez, commenting that he is a firm believer that this is how successful companies can be made.
When he mentions respect for principles and values from a business point of view, he refers to honoring the value promises made to customers, suppliers and collaborators.
For 15 years, this entrepreneurship philosophy of entrepreneurship has been promoted on different platforms “and now, in the Entre Jaguares project, best practices and stories will be shared with entrepreneurs who have implemented them.
There are many who feel half lost in this jungle called entrepreneurship”.
And he added that sometimes the market seems to be a jungle where the brightest, the most intelligent, the most sagacious survive, and that is fine; “But if we respect our spaces, principles and ethical business values, I believe that they can and should be the foundation of any undertaking.”
Martínez will participate in the radio program, on Tuesdays within the Entre Jaguares strip, in segments such as Business Panorama, The Good News of the Week and the Business Principle of the Week.
Experience as a judge, and promoter of principles and values
He also commented that he has had to be a judge in many national and international entrepreneurship competitions, “I have seen everything and what I can say is that there is not a single entrepreneur who does not have a strength within his project, but they also have areas of opportunity and improvement”.
That is possible to discover because the entrepreneur exposed his idea, broke down the barriers of fear or ego and decided to expose his company in that ecosystem, with which he discovers what he is good at, he said.
