KERALA – A video clip a couple of wild elephant within the rain-soaked forests of South India has been going viral since June 21. Midway by way of, musician Kavalam Srikumar and poet Pramod Kannan Pillai poetically ask, “May a hungry abdomen present, my buddies, would that rice be the downfall of a tusk?

The music laments a 35-year-old elephant whose love of rice led him to come back out of his jungle within the Idukki district of the south Indian state of Kerala, cross espresso plantations and enter paddy fields and grocery shops in Chinnakanal village. Locals referred to as him Arikomban, or rice tusker.
