The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo asks Prime Minister Albin Kurti to urgently coordinate actions with international allies.
According to AAK, Kosovo has never been in a more serious situation.
“Kosovo has never been in a more serious political, diplomatic and security situation than today. We ask Prime Minister Kurti to urgently coordinate the actions with the international allies, with the USA in particular, before the situation escalates and takes an even more serious direction”, it is written in the communique of AAK.
The reaction of Ramush Haradinaj’s party comes after it was announced that the meeting of the two governments, which was planned to be held tomorrow in Gjakova, has been cancelled.
Its cancellation was announced by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, through an extraordinary media conference where he said that he has asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti for another meeting format.
After this conference, the Government of Kosovo stated that the meeting was unilaterally canceled by Rama.
“Bilateral meetings could be held every other day. We are quite close to each other as countries. It wouldn’t be the first time we would meet in the same day. But it is the first time that a joint meeting is canceled unilaterally”, said the spokesperson of the Government, Përparim Kryeziu.
