The American actor, singer and comedian Jamie Foxx is still under observation in a hospital in the city of Atlanta, in the state of Georgia, for a “medical complication”, according to what his family reported through social networks.
He was urgently admitted last Tuesday and his daughter Corinne was in charge of posting a statement on Instagram the next day:
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication on Tuesday. Fortunately, thanks to the quick action and great care, he is already on the mend,” the text said, without revealing the reason for the hospitalization.
“We know how loved he is and we appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” Corinne completed.

The doctors continue to check him to find out what happened to him and what exactly he has.
Foxx was in Atlanta filming Back in Action, a Netflix movie. The company clarified that the medical incident did not occur on the set and that all their scenes have already been completed, for which they estimate to finish filming next week.
