BIRMINGHAM, Alaska — Four people were shot and wounded outside an Alabama bar early Sunday in what police described as gunfire.
Birmingham Police Lieutenant Ron Harless said three men and a woman were shot outside Tin Roof in the city’s Lakeview District, AL.com reported.
The shooting was reported around 12:45 am to an off-duty Birmingham police officer working Tin Roof.
Police and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene and found a man shot and a bullet-hit woman in the car park.
An SUV allegedly fled the crime scene and was apprehended nearby. Inside the vehicle were two seriously injured men, including one with life-threatening injuries.
All four gunshot victims were transported to UAB hospital.
The shooting is under investigation, police said.
