Masri stated: The quantity of water taken from floor sources of Alborz is 230 million cubic meters yearly, of which 84 million cubic meters are used for ingesting, 1 million cubic meters for trade and 145 million cubic meters for agriculture.
The Deputy of Safety and Operation of the Regional Water Firm of Alborz Province added: 22% of consumption in Alborz Province is from floor water and the remainder of the consumption of the province is underground water, which is extremely depending on underground water.
He emphasised on saving water consumption in numerous elements of the province and stated: Individuals and agricultural and industrial sectors ought to scale back the quantity of water consumption.
