NEW YORK – Southeast Asian countries are taking to the world’s largest diplomatic stage at the United Nations to call for a peaceful resolution of conflicts in Myanmar, the disputed South China Sea and Ukraine.

In their speeches at the 78th UN General Assembly (UNGA) high-level debate held in New York last week, ASEAN member states urged the maintenance of peace, security and prosperity in the region and rest of the world.
