The drivers of bus line 178 held a strike this Tuesday morning to demand more security, after denouncing a shooting after an attempted robbery in a unit that occurred near the Buenos Aires district of Lanús, in the south of Greater Buenos Aires. Aires.

The event occurred three days after another assault in Lanús, in which a line 9 driver was assaulted by criminals who, after cutting his face with a knife, stole his belongings and escaped in Villa Caraza.
At 4:30 on Saturday, the bus driven by Gastón Gómez was traveling through Primera Junta and Pilcomayo streets, two blocks from the Villa Caraza terminal, and was surprised by at least three criminals to rob him.
According to the complaint, the thieves had boarded in the area of the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Nueva Pompeya as passengers.
Two other passengers were in the unit, who, upon seeing that a robbery was taking place, were able to escape the bus, throwing themselves from the vehicle.
The thieves attacked the driver with a knife with which they cut his face and stole a chain, his wedding ring, and the wallet in which the driver, in addition to his driving license and identity document, had no more than 500 pesos.
