Black Californians warn Newsom of ‘direct affect’ on Harris after Democrats kill slave reparation payments

State Sen. Steven Bradford, who authored the measures, stated the payments failed to maneuver ahead out of worry that Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom would veto them.
