A bystander promptly name 911 after witnessing the incident and one other went down the embankment and helped Robino out of the crashed car.

NPS emergency responders acquired the 911 name at 3:50 pm and arrived at 4:10.

The bystanders stated Robino was respiratory till simply earlier than the park rangers arrived. 

NPS EMTs began CPR and moved Robino into the air-conditioned ambulance. Robino was declared lifeless at 4:42.

A subsequent post-mortem carried out by the Inyo County Coroner revealed that Robino died of hyperthermia.

The NPS stated that the nationwide park was 119°F that afternoon.

Park officers stated this was the second warmth associated loss of life this summer season at Loss of life Valley Nationwide Park.
