Two California mayors clashed on social media after legislation enforcement officers had been referred to as to confront anti-Israel agitators on the campus of the College of California, Irvine.

Following the Irvine mayor’s feedback about legislation enforcement, the previous Newport Seashore mayor denounced Khan’s “careless wording” and stated she was “preventatively accusing officers” of violence.

“Newport Seashore Cops are presently in Irvine aiding in response to a mutual support name. Your careless wording makes it seem that you’re preemptively accusing our officers, and officers from the numerous legislation enforcement businesses that responded, of violence.” O’Neill replied.

O’Neill referred to as on the present mayor to “make clear” her message.

The dueling feedback got here after UC Irvine was overrun by anti-Israel agitators on Wednesday afternoon.
