Two prime Canadian ministers went to President-elect Trump’s house in Florida on Thursday to debate border safety and commerce as the brand new president’s inauguration day approaches.
New Treasury Secretary Dominic LeBlanc and International Affairs Secretary Mélanie Joly can be in Palm Seaside, Florida, on Thursday for talks this week, Jean-Sébastien Comeau, a spokesman for LeBlanc, informed the Related Press.

Along with discussing border safety, Canadian leaders hope to focus talks on the fentanyl commerce and the “unfavourable impression” of Trump’s tariffs on items.
“Ministers plan to deal with Canada’s efforts to fight fentanyl trafficking and unlawful migration and on the measures set out within the Canada Border Plan, in addition to the unfavourable impression of imposing 25% tariffs on Canadian items would have for each Canada and the USA. Comeau added in an announcement.
