A 62-year-old man from the village of Selishte in Dibër was arrested as a suspect for planting cannabis plants.
He was caught watering the plot where he had grown cannabis, in a wooded area in the village of Bufull in Selishte.
The police, as part of the anti-cannabis operation coded “Clean Ridges”, destroyed 233 cannabis plants by burning them.
Earlier, during the first and second phase of this operation, 519 cannabis plants were destroyed in the territory of the municipality of Mat, where 1 EU citizen was arrested and 1 other is wanted.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Dibër, for further actions.
