Colorado ‘inexperienced’ funeral dwelling below investigation after ‘disturbing discovery’ of over 115 decaying our bodies

A “inexperienced” funeral dwelling in Fremont County, Colorado, is below investigation after a “horrific discovery” of greater than 115 decaying corpses, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Division confirmed Friday. 

The Return to Nature Funeral Residence in Penrose, west of Colorado Springs, is accused of improperly storing our bodies on the 2,500-square foot, one-story facility, the sheriff’s division stated, including that deputies have been referred to as there for a “suspicious incident,” which a suspension letter from a regulatory company known as a report of an “abhorrent scent,” Tuesday.

A search warrant was executed Thursday by the Fremont County Coroner’s Workplace and the Colorado Division of Regulatory Businesses, which oversees funeral properties within the state.
