Two people have been arrested and two others are under criminal prosecution for various criminal offenses in Rinas and the port of Durrës.
Thus, in Rinas, a 21-year-old resident of Kosovo was arrested in the act. The police exercised control over EB, and the verifications showed that the residence permit presented by this citizen was forged.
Likewise, in Rinas, the police checked the suitcases of a 28-year-old resident of Tirana. During the inspection, various clothing worth about 13,000 euros, suspected to be smuggled, were found. For the 21-year-old RS, the proceedings began in free status.
While at the port of Durrës, at the entrance, a case of false declaration of valuables was struck, where a 40-year-old man was arrested. A. Sh., a resident of Tirana, during the physical check, various gold accessories were found, which are suspected to be stolen.

For this case, the proceedings started in a free state for the 49-year-old AM, since during the control, 4 boxes of cigarettes (cigars) were found in his vehicle, with a total value of 2320 euros.
According to the police, the procedural materials were passed to the respective prosecutors for further action.

As a result, 4 cases of illegalities in different areas were struck. – At the Rinas BCP, on the way out, based on the risk analysis, the Border Police services passed the citizen EB for a more detailed check. From the verifications in the document laboratory, it turned out that the residence permit presented by this citizen was forged. Also, the services of the Rinas Border Police, at the entrance, passed for a more detailed check the suitcases of the RS citizen. During the check of his suitcases, various clothes (worth about 13,000 euros), suspected of being smuggled, were found. At the end of the actions, the citizen EB, 21 years old, resident in Kosovo, was arrested in the act, and the proceedings began in free status for the citizen RS, 28 years old, resident in Tirana. – In Port Durrës, at the entrance, a case of misdeclaration of valuables was found. For this case, the citizen A. Sh., 40 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested in the act, as during the physical check, various gold accessories, which are suspected to be stolen, were found on him. For this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office and the proceeding was started in a free state for the citizen AM, 49 years old, since during the search, 4 boxes of cigarettes (cigars) were found in his vehicle, with a total value of 2320 euros. The procedural materials were passed to the respective prosecutors for further actions”, according to the police announcement.
