A Detroit police officer heading house from work was killed in a hit-and-run crash on town’s east facet on Sunday, in keeping with authorities.
FOX 2 in Detroit reported that Officer Cameron Richardson had been with the division for simply over a 12 months, and police described him as a household man with two daughters, in addition to a veteran of the army.

The police stated Richardson was driving house from work as he traveled northbound on Hoover Road at Greiner Road.
Witnesses informed investigators a white van turned left onto Hoover Road, turning instantly in entrance of the Jeep Wrangler Richardson was driving.

When officers arrived on the scene simply after midnight, they discovered Richardson’s Jeep had rolled over within the crash.
However the different car had left the scene.
