In the video you can see that he tried cross a stream in the community of Veracruz, Nindirí, while witnesses recorded the dramatic moment, but strong currents dragged the all-terrain vehicle into a riverbed.
Seeing that he had lost control and was being dragged aimlessly, Alberto Romero jumped to try and save his life. However elements of the Fire Department and police did their best to assist him, but he lost his life.
