Gold price stabilizes in Egypt on Wednesday

Gold prices stabilized on Wednesday at the start of trading in local and global markets.

US inflation data are expected to be released today, which Reuters says could affect monetary policy decisions by the US Federal Reserve.

The price of Egypt’s 21-karat gold has recently risen by LE 100 per gram due to the abundance of supply and demand in the market, former gold division secretary general Nady Naguib said.

The 24-karat gold registered LE 2,915 per gram The 21-karat gold registered LE 2,250 per gram The 18-karat gold registered LE 2,185 per gram The price of the gold pound registered LE 20,400.

The price of gold in US dollars was trading at $2,032 an ounce today.
