“But he gives you 72 hours to think about it before you’re asked to vote on it,” Roberts told Norman.

“It’s only 99 pages,” the Fox anchor later added.

On Twitter. Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) led the mockery of Norman’s complaint.

“Let’s do some math,” Lieu wrote.

“If GOP Rep Ralph Norman works 8 hours a day, that’s 24 hours in 3 days to read 99 pages. That equates to reading just over 4 pages per hour. And these are double-spaced text pages,” he continued.

“Alternatively, he can have AI summarize the bill for him in 1 minute,” Lieu added.

However, Norman had at least had some time over the weekend to process the bill, describing it as “madness,” despite his later moans at the conservative network.

“A $4T debt ceiling increase without spending cuts is not what we agreed on. I’m not going to vote to bankrupt our country. The American people deserve better,” he tweeted.
