Gripping 911 Audio Reveals Daughter’s Panic

Minutes before deputies arrived to find an Ohio father sitting in his yard next to a gun with his three sons dead on the grass, a neighbor told dispatchers that a girl approached her, claiming that her father “had killed everyone in her family killed,” recently released 911 audio reveals.

“She said her stepfather kills everyone in her house,” the woman told the operator. “I asked her to get in the car with me and she said she couldn’t leave her family.”

She described the survivor as a teenage girl with blonde hair. The victims were three boys aged 3, 4 and 7.

On a second call, a man across the street said he had seen at least two children shot in broad daylight.

The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Chad Doerman on June 15, charged with triple murder.

He is accused of executing two of his sons before “hunting” the third, who had fled to a neighbour’s field, only to drag him home and shoot him as well.

Although he disobeyed orders from deputies, they handcuffed him without further violence.

In previously released bodycam video, black bars covered the screen where the boys’ bodies lay on the grass. Immediately after Doerman was handcuffed, deputies tried to provide assistance.

“Can I roll over?” asks Doerman, handcuffed and sprawled on the floor. “I’m not going to hurt you. I’m not going to hurt anyone.”

Doerman is being held on $20 million bail on three counts of aggravated murder during the shootings.

At his arraignment on Friday, prosecutors claimed he confessed to lining up and shooting his sons in the garden.

“This is by far the most sickening, heinous crime I’ve seen,” said Clermont County Attorney Mark Tekulve. WKRC-TV of Cincinnati. “I can only imagine the fear these little boys felt and experienced when their father – their protector – was killing them.”

He must appear in court again on June 26.
