A security guard killed a security expert of Israeli origin this Friday morning at the entrance to the Villa Valencia neighborhood in the El Carmen sector of San Pedro Sula.

The victim was identified as Yaacov Leviwho was a former Israeli colonel, military adviser, and writer.

Preliminary information indicates that the now-deceased man began a heated discussion with the guard assigned to the community’s entrance gate. Subsequently, the guard drew his weapon and would have fired several projectiles against the humanity of the deceased.

It has not been determined at the moment exactly if the foreigner was armed at the time of the event and if he would have drawn a weapon.

According to witnesses, the man got out of the car to argue and the guard shot him in the back and advanced in his car until he hit the wall in front of the security booth.

The Police set up a security operation to arrest the guard who would have fled and his capture has not been officially reported at this time.
