There were bills of different denominations that totaled 104,750 euros. “I’m doing someone a favor, I didn’t know there were euros,” the woman declared nervously after being discovered.

The maneuver detected by Customs personnel greatly exceeded the foreign currency limit that can be entered into the country without declaring, of USD 10,000 (or its equivalent in another currency).
