Rodrigo López Besso (25), from Cordoba, who had traveled to Spain for work, suffered serious injuries after falling several meters from the cliffs on the coast of Los Abrigos, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in Tenerife. After undergoing surgery, his condition “is serious.”
Now, the young man’s family started a solidarity collection so that his mother travels there, to be able to accompany him in this hard moment.
According to the Island’s Emergency and Security Coordination Center, the accident took place last Saturday, around 7:30 a.m., when a call was received requesting medical assistance for a person who had fallen from several meters high on a beach in the area. mentioned.

After the alert was given, the emergency services were mobilized: the Tenerife Fire Consortium, a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) intervened, as well as agents of the Local Police.
The firefighters were able to rescue the young man from Córdoba and in an official statement it was reported that when they assisted him, Rodrigo presented “various injuries of a serious nature” and that once he was stabilized by the health team “he was transferred by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora University Hospital of the Candlemas”.

In a chat with La Voz, Marcia explained that her son is dedicated to the gastronomic sector, and that he is a native of Córdoba. And that with the arrival of the European heat, she went to Spain for the season.
He also confirmed that the accident caused severe head trauma: “He had to undergo emergency surgery, but they told me that his condition is serious. The trauma has been very strong and now he is being dialyzed,” he said.
This Monday, the Argentine consul in Tenerife contacted Rodrigo’s family to inform them that they are following the case: they removed his sedation and are waiting for him to react neurologically.
“Since the accident, nobody is with him. Nobody. One of his friends who is in Barcelona can only travel tomorrow (for this Tuesday). I am desperate, he cannot be alone there,” Marcia confided with great pain.

After the news of the accident, Rodrigo’s relatives quickly started a solidarity collection so that Marcia can travel to Spain to accompany him. An order that initially started on social networks, Facebook and Instagram.
