The Yemeni Houthi group on Saturday vowed to answer Israeli airstrikes on western Yemen.
The Israeli assault on Al Hudaydah “goals to exacerbate the struggling of the individuals and strain Yemen to cease supporting Gaza,” Mohammed Abulsalam, the Houthi spokesman, mentioned in a submit on X.
“We affirm that this brutal aggression will solely improve the willpower and steadfastness of the Yemeni individuals and their courageous armed forces, persevering with and escalating their help for Gaza,” added the spokesman.
Mohammed al-Houthi, a member of the Political Council of the group, threatened operations that might “plague” Israel in response to the assaults on Al Hudaydah.
Earlier within the day, the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah channel reported casualties from Israeli airstrikes on the Al Hudaydah port.
The strikes focused oil storage amenities on the Al Hudaydah port, in addition to the facility station within the governorate.
