The Sante Fe Lottery game distributed $1,500,000,000 in the Always Sale modality, the highest prize in nominal terms. What numbers came out.

The winning numbers were 17, 18, 25, 26, 31 and 45. In dreams, they represent “misfortune”, “blood”, “the chicken”, “the mass”, “light” and “wine”. . None of the players came up with the exact combination, but the 21 winners got a second chance by hitting 5 out of 6.
The historic jackpot was given by an extraordinary format that has been implemented by the Santa Fe Lottery and that last year had debuted with an amount of 1,000 million. This time, the bait was to increase the figure by 50% to balance the impact of inflation.
The bettors had to pay a thousand pesos card, which gave them the right to participate in the Traditional, Second, Revancha (all three were vacant) and the coveted Siempre Sale raffles, in addition to the Extra jackpot that delivered a “consolation prize” of $18,000 .

To measure the magnitude of that prize, two pieces of information. The gross well was similar to the amount that Boca Juniors received six months later for the transfer of Juan Román Riquelme to Barcelona: the club had 22 million clean pesos left and the operation represented the most expensive sale in Argentine soccer at the time. The winner had about 15 million pesos left, which represented more than 1,000 Volkswagen Gol 3-door base cars, the best-selling in the country.
What would happen if a similar pattern were taken today? The best-selling car in Argentina is the Fiat Cronos, which has a value close to 5.5 million pesos. The super well raffled last night would represent some 270 vehicles of this model -it is worth clarifying, it is four doors-, barely a quarter of the prize awarded 23 years ago. And the money that each of the 21 winners will have left in their hands would be enough to buy 9 of these 0km/h cars.
