Human remains were found Friday in three separate Florida suitcases, according to law enforcement officials seeking information about the gruesome discovery.
The Delray Beach Police Department responded to an 911 call from a person who said they saw something strange in the Intracoastal Waterway, police said.
Detectives discovered a suitcase containing human remains, That’s according to the Delray Beach Police Department.
The remains belong to “a middle-aged white or Hispanic woman with brown hair and about six feet tall,” a police statement said.
Shortly after discovering the remains, police discovered even more human remains in two other trunks near the Intracoastal Waterway.
The remains in all three suitcases belong to the same woman, according to the police.

According to Delray Beach police, the victim was wearing a floral print tank top, a black undershirt and black shorts that reached mid-thigh.
In a short update On Monday afternoon, the Delray Police Department requested the public’s assistance in reviewing possible surveillance video from July 17 through July 20.
The woman, believed to be between the ages of 35 and 55, was pushed into the water during that time, based on her condition, police said.
The area of interest is about a mile long, with police telling the public to look for any unusual vehicles, people, or anyone carrying or moving luggage during that time.
According to the police, it is an isolated incident.
