Hunter Biden, the 53-year-old son of President Joe Biden, was dropped off Friday from his fiery child support case in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lunden Roberts, mother of 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, had reached an agreement with the president’s son on paternity and child support payments in 2020. Roberts gave birth to Navy in August 2018 and filed a paternity suit less than a year later.
A judge ruled in January 2020 that Biden was Navy’s father “with near scientific certainty”.
Roberts, who is a former stripper, attended the courtroom hearing on Friday – a move a Daily Mail source described as “highly unusual”.

“Attending Hunter’s statement would have been a strategic choice and perhaps a game,” the source told the Daily Mail. ‘And why not? It’s harder for most people to be untruthful about a person in front of them.’
Biden has been paying the mother $20,000 a month, which he is trying to lower. Last month, the judge reprimanded both sides for making slow progress in the years-long legal dispute.
“I expect this case to be moved,” said Independence County Circuit Judge Holly Meyer. “So, finish it.”
Meyer had also criticized Biden’s team for heavily editing files about his financial history, saying at a hearing in May that “the ability to edit is somewhat abused.”

Roberts’ legal team is also fighting to allow the child to use Biden’s last name.
“The name Biden is now synonymous with being educated, successful, financially acute and politically powerful,” Roberts’ lawyers wrote in a motion in December. Biden’s attorney then demanded evidence that the name change was in the best interests of the child.
Roberts’ lawyers have reportedly filed a contempt motion against Biden, alleging that he is not being honest about his income.
According to the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Meyer ordered both sides to appear in court on July 10, giving Biden a chance to answer questions about his financial situation and defend himself against allegations.

Roberts’ attorney Clint Lancaster reportedly said he is seeking criminal contempt for Biden, meaning the president’s son could potentially face a prison sentence, according to the Democrat-Gazette.
