Joe Rogan is on the side of those who believe that trans women should not play women’s sports.

On a recent episode of his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” with special guest Ice Cube, the two discussed trans women, starting with Bud Light trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney situation.

But that conversation quickly shifted to how widespread the debate is with trans women participating in women’s sports, which Rogan says is becoming “forced compliance” for everyone.

“You’re forced to comply,” Rogan explained. “And it’s f—ing women’s sport in a huge way. Some organizations oppose that, and some people oppose the organizations that oppose it, which I think is insane. Like you don’t give a damn about biological women at all You should be against that.”

While many elected officials have tried to legislate to protect women’s sports, it is still allowed. That spawned a hypothetical argument from Ice Cube, the famed rapper and founder of Big3, who said nothing is stopping NBA superstar LeBron James from retiring from the league, identifying as a trans woman and playing in the WNBA .

“They couldn’t stop it if he just publicly said, ‘I identify as a woman,'” Rogan noted. “What are they going to do? They can’t do anything, and then that would be the end.

“Just stop. There’s a reason there’s women’s sports, and there’s a reason there’s men’s sports.”

Public figures from Riley Gaines to Caitlyn Jenner have expressed their views on women’s sports featuring only biological women because of the physical disadvantages that trans women, biological men face, regardless of the sport.

Countless examples of trans women winning events — Lia Thomas’ win in NCAA swimming remains a major reason why the debate is hot — have been found at all levels from high school track to professional cycling.

President Biden recently proposed expanding the scope of Title IX protections by expanding the meaning of sexual discrimination to include gender identity.

It was met with serious opposition from Republican leaders, and several states moved forward with legislation to ban transgender athletes from participating in school sports that align with gender identities.

There are 22 states that have rules for transgender women in girls’ and women’s sports, with Alabama last month banning biological men from playing in women’s sports at the collegiate level.
