John Bruton: Former taoiseach dies after lengthy sickness

In his tribute on Tuesday, present Nice Gael chief and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar described Mr Bruton as “a doer and a thinker” who “made a particular effort to succeed in out to the unionist group”.
