The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has declared that there will not be a Serbian Republic in the north of the country.
He reiterated that the right of territorialization and creation of anything that would look like the Serbian Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be allowed.
“The creation of a Serbian Republic in the north of Kosovo will not be allowed… “We will not allow a satellite state with a destructive essence that would undermine the citizenship of Kosovo”, he said in an interview for the Croatian medium “Hina”, on the eve of the new round of dialogue.
A day before the meeting between Kurti and Vucic, where it is planned to present the draft of the charter of municipalities with Serbian majority, Kurti said that he is waiting to see what draft has been prepared.
“Taking into account the insistence of Brussels, I will be happy to see what draft they have prepared, even though I think it would be better if they presented it to me in Pristina first”, said Kurti.
Kurti assured that what was agreed on February 27 in Brussels will be fulfilled.
Otherwise, tomorrow in Brussels, Kurti will meet with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, with the mediation of the emissary for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
