“It was great to be able to play one of our most productive games, one of our best games of the series, and it started thanks to our defensive matchup,” James later said. “We’ve had a high level of defense and when we do, we can be extremely good. I thought we were locked into as much 48 minutes as possible tonight.”

Austin Reaves scored 23 points and D’Angelo Russell scored 19 in their 122-101 win over the Warriors.

Stephen Curry was Golden State’s top scorer with 32 points, while Donte DiVincenzo added 16 points.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets will face off in the Western Conference Finals in the 2023 NBA playoffs.

“I have to give them a lot of credit. They didn’t play like the 8th seed – they were amazing. I have a lot of respect for them and that organization. I like the way we fought,” said Brunson.

The Miami Heat will face the winner of the Boston Celtics-Philadelphia 76ers game.
