The commitment was won 1-0 by the Mexican team thanks to a controversial penalty scored by Orbelín Pineda and sanctioned by the Honduran referee Said Martínez.
Before the game, the selection of Panama sealed his pass to the quarterfinals of the Gold Cup 2023 after beating his peer from Qatar.
