The primary trailer for Goodrich debuted on Friday, teasing Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis as an estranged father and daughter reconnecting.
Keaton stars as Andy Goodrich, whose life is upended when his spouse and mom of their 9-year-old twins enters a 90-day rehab program, leaving him on his personal with their younger youngsters. Thrust into the world of contemporary parenthood, Goodrich leans on his grown daughter from his first marriage, Grace (Kunis), who’s now pregnant, as he finally evolves into the daddy she by no means had.
“I’m 27 years older than you, which is principally exceptional for siblings… besides perhaps in LA,” Grace explains to her child siblings within the trailer.
Kunis and Keaton teased the film in a Zoom dialog as she taught her onscreen dad put up the trailer to his social media. “I posted this by myself by the way in which,” Keaton wrote on his Instagram Story with the trailer.
Written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, Goodrich additionally stars Andie MacDowell, Michael Urie, Carmen Ejogo, Laura Benanti, Kevin Pollak, Viven Lyra Blair, Nico Haraga and Danny Deferrari.
