They tried to take 100 thousand euros from a businessman, father and son are arrested.
As part of the coded police operation “Telegram”, the following citizens were arrested: Bedri and Albert Vodha, and the organizer Florian Gjergji was declared wanted.

The coded police operation “Telegram” is finalized, for the attack on the criminal activity of fraud, with the aim of benefiting from significant monetary values.
They tried to take the amount of 100,000 euros from a businessman, by means of fraud, 2 citizens (father and son) were arrested in the act.
The organizer of this criminal activity is identified and declared wanted, who, presenting himself as a high-ranking official, in communications on social networks, asked businessmen for large sums of money.
Another case of receiving a large amount of money from these citizens through this fraudulent method is uncovered.
70,000 euros, 2 vehicles, 5 mobile phones, 3 SIM cards, 1 laptop, 2 USB drives and 1 tablet were seized.
Unit “E” for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes in the Investigative Directorate in the Criminal Police Department in the DPPSH, in cooperation with the Tirana Local Police Directorate and the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the DPPSH, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, thanks to the increase of trust of the citizens, to denounce to the police structures, cases of criminal activity with the aim of benefiting from monetary values, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, has successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation “Telegram”.
During this operation, citizens BV, 54 years old and AV, 24 years old (father and son), residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act.
Citizen F. Gj., a resident of Tirana, was also declared wanted.
From the investigative actions, it was found that the citizens BV and AV would receive the amount of 100,000 euros from a businessman. Citizen F. Gj. has organized this criminal activity, introducing himself to the businessman as a senior official and asking him for the amount of money, during communications on social networks.
After the identification, citizens BV and AV were kept under observation by the operational services of the Police, until the moment when they were arrested red-handed, before taking the amount of money from the businessman.
From the in-depth investigative actions, it is suspected that these 3 citizens are authors of another similar case, which happened in March of this year, in Tirana, where by means of deception, presenting themselves as senior officials, they obtained a a lot of money to a businessman.
As material evidence, the following were seized: 70,000 euros, 2 vehicles, 5 mobile phones, 3 SIM cards, 1 laptop, 2 USB sticks and 1 tablet.
Work continues on the capture of the citizen F. Gj. and for the complete documentation of the criminal activity carried out in cooperation with the 2 arrested citizens.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, for the criminal offense “Fraud”, committed in cooperation.
The State Police thanks the citizens, for the increase in trust to report such cases, but also other cases of illegality, in all areas where they appear, to the police structures.
The State Police invites citizens, economic operators nationwide and other victims, in case they know or suspect criminal activity of this nature, to report it without hesitation, to the police structures throughout the country, guaranteeing that The State Police has all the capacities in human and operational resources to punish anyone who is implicated in this criminal activity and in any other illegality.
