The incident passed off in Kech district in southwestern Baluchistan province, which shares a protracted lawless border with Afghanistan and Iran.
The Pakistani army mentioned attackers from Iran killed 4 of its border patrol troopers.
“A gaggle of terrorists working from the Iranian aspect attacked a routine border patrol of Pakistani safety forces working alongside the border between Pakistan and Iran,” the ISPR army media outlet mentioned in an announcement Saturday.
“Crucial contacts are being established with the Iranian aspect to behave successfully towards terrorists on the Iranian aspect and forestall such incidents sooner or later.”
