The deputies of the National Party and Liberal Party benches abandoned their seats tonight, while the head of the Revenue Administrator Service (SAR), Marlon Ochoa, justified the scope of the Tax Reform Law.

During the presentation, he stated that there are businessmen who have abused the exonerations, to which the congressmen from the majority opposition benches urged him to indicate them by name and surname.

However, Ochoa did not mention them and rather labeled the deputies as corrupt, which unleashed the displeasure of the parliamentarians and they finally left their seats and placed themselves in a corner of the legislative chamber.

By questioning the actions of the previous NC and branding some parliamentarians as corrupt, an attempt at confrontation between pro-government and opposition deputies was unleashed within the legislative chamber by demanding that the director of the SAR present the evidence.

The congressmen condemned that a group of SAR employees entered the chamber where they uttered a series of insults and profanity, who applauded all the participation of Ochoa, who throughout his presentation attacked the private sector and opposition parliamentarians.

After a kilometric justification that exceeded the two hours of the scope of the questioned law, the holder of the SAR, argued that the misinformation comes from groups interested in maintaining a business of 70 million lempiras.

Less than 15 nationalist and liberal deputies remained within the legislative chamber.
