EXCLUSIVE: Two liberal organizations that describe themselves as “radical feminist” groups have teamed up in a surprising effort to protect women’s rights.

This week, the Women’s Liberation Front and Women’s Declaration International USA broke with President Biden and joined Congressional Republicans in support of HR 734or the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, a bill that would prevent biological men from participating in women’s sports.

Speaking to Fox News Digital on Wednesday, Kara Dansky, the president of Women’s Declaration International USA, said her nonpartisan organization was “dedicated to advancing the Declaration on the Sex-Based Rights of Womenwhich, according to the group, “reaffirms the gender-based rights of women and girls,” and challenges perceived discrimination “through the replacement of the category of gender with that of ‘gender identity’.”

“We are a radical feminist organization, and Article Seven of the Declaration on the Rights of Women Based on Sex, which is based on a radical feminist critique of gender identity, demands that sport be kept separate from gender. Representative Steube is in compliance with article seven of the statement,” Dansky told Fox.

Dansky said she wasn’t surprised to hear Biden’s vow to veto the bill if it made it through Congress, emphasizing that she is a Democrat as she challenged the party on its stance about the issue.

“I am and always have been a registered Democrat, and I think it is the height of hypocrisy for Democratic leadership, including the President, to stand up for women’s and girls’ rights to abortion, which we fully support, while at the same time we deny women’s rights.” and girls to single sex spaces,” she said.

Lierre Keith, chairman of the board of the Women’s Liberation Front, echoed Dansky’s determination to protect same-sex sports.

“Women and girls deserve to play in athletic competitions that are fair and safe. Same-sex sports are critical to ensuring equal opportunities, scholarships and careers, and new ‘gender identity’ policies threaten to push women back for decades,” she said in a statement.

BIDEN VETOED GOP BILL TO PROTECT WOMEN’S SPORTS, CALLS IT ‘DISCRIMINATION’ AGAINST TRANSGENDER STUDENTS

“Girls who participate in sports show more confidence and positive body image, get better grades in school, and are more likely to graduate. In addition, even the fastest female Olympians are still outperformed by high school boys, and biological differences between men and women aren’t even remotely changed by hormones or surgery,” she said.

Keith added that “most ‘gender identity’ policies” do not require physical or hormonal changes for men to identify as women and participate in the same sport, and cited polls that showed Americans largely disagree with the allowing “trans-identified boys and men” to compete against girls and women.

“For all these reasons, we wholeheartedly support the law on the protection of women and girls in sport,” she said.

Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., who introduced HR 734 earlier this year, celebrated his partnership with both groups while speaking to Fox on Wednesday, describing it as an “interesting bipartisan conglomerate” coming together to protect women’s sports.

He predicted that the bill would pass the House of Representatives when it comes to a vote on Thursday, and that some Democrats would also support it. However, he was uncertain about the result in the Senate.

“I would imagine depending on how many Democrats end up voting, it’s probably going to get a lot of support. But I think the other piece that’s really important here is that after three or four years of work, we’re finally going to get the opportunity to know where each member of Congress stands on this very important issue,” he said.

On Biden’s vow to veto the bill, and the possibility that there wouldn’t be enough votes to override the veto, Steube expressed hope that lawsuits would ensue as the administration’s changes to Title IX failed to pass Congress and have been implemented by executive order. He also laid out the implications for those seeking the White House in 2024.

“I’m sure every Republican who becomes the nominee will support this bill. So that’s going to be an issue that parents will vote for if they come to the midterms or to the presidential election, and that 73% of Americans who pass the support protection of women’s sports will know that this administration has no contact with America on this matter,” he said.
