Health Canada warns consumers to stop using the BabyTeddy 7-in-1 Convertible Baby Crib Wooden Baby Cot due to injury and poisoning risks.

The department says the crib slats could break, trap or injure a baby.

It also says that the gold paint on the crib contains a higher than allowed amount of lead.

The convertible crib was sold on Amazon.ca.

Amazon says 58 of the cribs have been sold in Canada.

Health Canada says it has not received any reports of injuries or illness in this country.

This report from The Canadian Press was first published on April 17, 2023.
