Arnold Schwarzenegger has spoken many times publicly about his past and his childhood, and this time he did not hesitate to show what his mother’s biggest fear was.

The famous actor was invited to the Museum of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles to give a speech. He talked about his mother and the misunderstanding she had about the genders in society.

Her biggest fear was that her child might be gay. He explained that when he was a teenager, he had certain standards in mind, as a result of which his room was filled with posters of bodybuilders, boxers, boxing champions, etc.

This did not sit well with his mother, who wondered what had gone wrong with her son, since unlike him, most boys his age had posters of women in their rooms.

“My mum used to look at the wall and say ‘all your friends are putting up posters of girls. What’s wrong with you?’ She cried every day looking at the wall. Until one day a doctor called to see me,” said the actor.

“He told her this is perfectly normal for kids my age. We have male idols who are strong and this is not alarming, nor does it necessarily mean that someone is gay. This was her biggest fear,” he added.
