‘SNL’ Chilly Open Spoofs Vice Presidential Debate

Saturday Evening Reside took to the talk stage on Saturday with Bowen Yang’s JD Vance and Jim Gaffigan’s Tim Walz.

The most recent episode’s chilly open kicked off with Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris and Andy Samberg’s Douglas Emhoff sitting down on their sofa to look at the talk.

I’m feeling good tonight,” Rudolph says. “Now we have bought momentum. Liz Cheney’s about to endorse me and Bruce Springsteen. ‘Trigger child I used to be born to run.”

They proceeded to activate the vice presidential debate with moderators Heidi Gardner’s Norah O’Donnell and Chloe Fineman’s Margaret Brennan, who requested for the VP candidates for his or her opening statements.

“Thanks for having me. I wish to begin with one thing that may attraction to girls voters. I perceive that each the moderators tonight are moms and I like that,” Yang’s Vance says.

The moderators then toss to a seemingly frantic Walz, who’s scribbling on a bunch of papers: “Are you getting ready your solutions?”

“No, I gotta grade these papers,” Gaffigan’s Walz says. “Bought a stack of midterms.”

Comic Nate Bargatze returned to Studio 8H on Saturday to host the sketch comedy present for the second time, with musical visitor Coldplay.
