The Socialist Party starts the engines of the electoral campaign this Tuesday evening.
After the meeting of the Presidency of the SP, Edi Rama is expected from Tirana to give his first electoral message to the socialists. Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, quoting sources from the SP, says that the opening of the campaign will gather in Tirana all 61 candidates for mayor.
They will plant 61 trees in the flower garden near Skënderbej Square. Afterwards, the chief socialist Edi Rama will have a speech.
The Socialist Presidency last week approved the campaign strategy. Socialists will not start the campaign with large format rallies. Each electoral meeting will be preceded by tree planting.
