A South Carolina dying row inmate is being required to decide on between a firing squad, deadly injection and the electrical chair for his Nov. 1 execution.
Richard Moore, 59, was convicted of the homicide of James Mahoney, a comfort retailer employee, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in September 1999.
In 2001, Moore was discovered responsible of homicide, aggravated assault with the intent to kill, armed theft, and a violation involving a handgun.
The 59-year-old now has till Oct. 18 to resolve the best way to finish his life. If he doesn’t select, he will likely be electrocuted.
