A South Carolina woman accused of driving drunk and beating Samantha Hutchinson, who was married that night, was reportedly given special treatment in jail.

She faces three charges of drunk driving resulting in serious bodily injury or death, and one charge of reckless homicide.

In other phone calls with friends obtained by The Post and Courier, Komoroski expressed regret over the incident and told her loved ones that she didn’t want people to think she was a horrible person. She also expressed her belief that she will be released on bail in a few months.

“There have been people who have killed people on purpose before and they’ve bailed, for example,” she told a group of her friends on the call, according to the outlet.

According to court records, Komoroski’s lawyers filed for bail on Friday, claiming she poses neither a threat to the community nor a flight risk.

The filing comes just two days after Hutchinson filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Komoroski and 15 other defendants, mostly made up of bars and LLCs.

A GoFundMe for the couple titled “Sam and Aric” has raised nearly $730,000 since Miller’s death.
